Speed Alert
Request a demo

Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Robert Macbeth, doing business as Speed Alert ("Speed Alert," "we," "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers four groups of people: visitors to this website, people who book a demo, our clients (the businesses that subscribe), and their leads (the people who contact those businesses).

1. Information we collect

Website visitors

Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and secure the site. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.

Demo bookings

When you book a demo through TidyCal, we receive your name, email, the time you chose and any answers you give about your business.

Business outreach

We may contact businesses using business contact details from public sources, such as company websites and business directories. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to the message or emailing us.

Clients

Name, business name, email, phone numbers for alerts, team members' names and numbers, and the business details you share during setup (services, prices, service area, common questions). Payments are handled by Whop: we see your plan and payment status, never your full card details.

Leads

Whatever a client's connected forms or ad platforms send us, typically name, contact details and the message the lead wrote. We process this on the client's behalf, as their service provider.

Usage data

Alert delivery times, claim and response times, lead statuses, and the basic logs needed to run and fix the Service.

2. How we use it

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use one client's leads to market to anyone else. We don't use lead data to train general-purpose AI models.

3. Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the website and the Service, each bound to use the data solely for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

4. Messages and opting out

Leads receive text messages only when the client has collected their consent and approved the template. Anyone can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them, or contact the business directly.

5. How long we keep it

We keep lead data for as long as the client's subscription is active. After cancellation, we keep it for 30 days so the client can request an export, then delete it. Demo booking details are kept for up to 12 months unless you become a client. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If you're a lead of one of our clients, contact that business first; we'll help them respond. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it to run your account, and lead details go only to the team member who claims the lead. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll tell you promptly.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll email clients at least 14 days before it takes effect.
